Walt: convince our  audience

Opinion - I really think room 3 deserves to go on a trip to Auckland.

Reason - We have worked very hard to improve our reading, writing and maths and we should celebrate our .

Example - My reading was at 11 yrs old and now it is at 12 years old. I was below national standards at the beginning of the year and now I am above standard.

Opinion - This is why I believe we deserve to go on an end of year trip.

W.A.L.T: retell a past event.

W.I.L.F: correct sequence of events.

“No school work today we're cooking” Miss Wihongi explained loudly solid I thought to myself I love cooking.
“Piringi” Miss called. I rushed to the back of the class and shoved the blue plastic gloves on.I snatched a green blunt peeler from the pack. I held my juicy apple In my other hand, I begin to peel. Finally all the skin is off. I chopped it in half and then into Quarters then into thin slices. I added my load of apple into the silver big pot it's ready to stew. Off to the staff room we ran
I mixed sugar and butter. Then flour. It looked like cheesey bread crumbs I sifted it on top of the stewed apples. I shoved the tray into the burning oven. It smelt like a danish in a bakery I gazed Into the oven. The bubbles reminded me of Ngawha springs. “It’s ready whanau Haere ma ki te kai “ Miss Wihongi shouted. I rushed to snatch a colorful bowl and waited for everyone else. I slowly scoped a mouthful. Yummy I thought. What a amazing day.
